Daft Punk’s Alive Pyramid Stage is getting an official LEGO set

During Covid exit lockPatrick Harboun and his son sat in Luxembourg and have a LEGO replica of Daft Punk’s pyramid stage from the Life 2007 Tour. This project, submitted under Harboun’s LEGO Ideas handle Robot skirtwon LEGO’s 2020 “Music to Our Ears” challenge and cleared 10,000 supporters were Threshold required for official review. LEGO and Daft Punk announced the formal licensed partnership in October 2026.

This all started as a creative escape during lockdown between my son and I due to our shared love of Daft Punk and LEGO building.

What you see online is not the final set

The fan model and the retail product are two different things.

LEGO has explicitly labeled the publicly circulating images as “not final”. These images show Harboun’s original fan concept, which reportedly includes around 2,000 piecesLighting, transparent brick elements, and a motorized rotating structure. LEGO’s in-house designers will tweak the concept, meaning the number of pieces, mechanics and construction details of the finished set remain unconfirmed.

Treat the fan model as inspiration, not the product sheet. This difference is very important when deciding whether to get excited about the lighting rig.

As LEGO and Daft Punk announced this

A short film, a shiny red brick, and a very off-brand teaser strategy.

The announcement came via Daft Punk’s “WDPK 83.7” YouTube stream, which featured footage of a red holographic LEGO brick ahead of the unveiling. A short film then depicted Daft Punk minifigures following the glowing brick through a dark landscape until their concert console appeared, set to “Voyager” and “Human After All”. The collaboration also follows the duo’s LEGO-animated cameo in the 2024 movie piece by piecewhere the couple “Get Lucky” appears in the real-world pop-culture collector tradition of beloved licensed builds. Daft Punk, it turns out, have no objection to plastic.

When can you actually buy it?

The honest answer is: not yet, and maybe not for a while.

No price, release date, set number, final piece count or retailer has been announced. LEGO says additional details are coming in 2027although this timeline does not establish a precise shipping window. The partnership is described as extending beyond a single set and additional content and fan experiences, with specifics still to come.

What started as a father and son building something together during a global pandemic has become one of the more truly interesting things to watch in the LEGO collector pipeline. The 2027 timeline is the only detail LEGO has committed to, and it doesn’t offer a shipping window. For a project that began in Luxembourg as a lockout period, the officially licensed production is a remarkably long journey from the dinner table.
