The Samsung Galaxy S27 has already made the rounds through several certification databases, and today it has passed through another one. The handset, which has the model number SM-S952B/DS, has just been approved by India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and it is the first member of the S27 family to get there.
Unfortunately, the BIS listing doesn’t reveal any specs, but we already know a bit from the phone’s previous appearances. The same model number recently appeared in the NBD database with a 6.3-inch screen, the Exynos 2700 chipset at the top, and 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage. Its 3C certification in China meanwhile revealed its support for 25W wireless charging, which was later confirmed by UL Solutions. That’s the same speed you get with the Galaxy S26, rather disappointing.
According to previous rumors, the Galaxy S27 will have a 50MP main camera with a Sony sensor replacing the Samsung ISOCELL sensor in its predecessor. The 12MP ultrawide camera and 10MP telephoto camera will likely be carried over, however. The S27 will also have a 12MP selfie camera.
