4 of the best scary watches for Halloween

When Halloween rolls around, it’s not just the costumes and candy that set the mood—a great watch can do the trick, too.
Whether you’re after something quietly creepy or playfully macabre, a timepiece can add just the right amount of spooky flair to your wrist.

From glowing dials to ghostly faces, some watches seem made to give you a little chill every time you check the time. I’ve rounded up four that perfectly capture that Halloween spirit.

So grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte, queue up your favorite horror flick, and let’s take a look at four watches that will add a touch of dread to your outfit.

1. Spinnaker Fleuss Automatic second / second / 2026 edition

Spinnaker’s collaboration with Seconde/Seconde/ is back for a fourth year, and the 2026 editions may be the most wearable yet. It comes from the Paris-based customization studio founded by Romaric André and known for turning vintage watches into playful, conversation-starting art. This y 50 phantoms within a single flow 40 Automatic.

Just like previous versions, 50 phantoms are hidden in the watch, some are obvious, others only reveal themselves in the dark under the UV torch included in the box. There are two versions of the watch, one ‘Quiet’ and one ‘Crazy’.

Among all the ghosts, Fleuss is a real watch. The 40mm 316L stainless steel case is 12.15mm thick and 47mm lug-to-lug, topped with a white ceramic bezel and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.

Inside is a Miyota 9039 automatic with 41+ hours of power reserve, and the Swiss Super-LumiNova on the applied indices keeps the glow-in-the-dark theme going. It is screwed and water resistant up to 10 ATM. Three bands come in the box: the 20mm steel bracelet with a folding clasp and safety lock, plus white silicone and orange nylon alternatives.

2. Mr. Jones Watches Night Howl

Mr Jones Watches teamed up with French author and illustrator Xavier Broche Night hollowa wonderfully creepy creation that has arrived just in time for a spooky season.

The dial tells a small story: a lone hiker discovers a moonlit forest filled with hidden creatures – a fox, an owl, and even a ghost. The man’s torch beam hovers over the dial to mark the minutes, while the ghost itself keeps track of the hours. Broche says it’s inspired by that nervous feeling of walking through a dark forest where every little sound makes your heart skip a beat.

It’s fantastical, oddly charming, and a perfect fit for Mr Jones’ collection of historic watches. It is available now at Mr Jones Watches priced at US$275 / £195.

3. Swatch The Oh of the Dead

This playful watch from Swatch’s The Simpsons Collection has a distinctly spooky vibe, featuring the entire Simpson family in a vibrant, multi-colored Day of the Dead print.

Set against a sleek matte black dial and silicone strap, it’s packed with eerie charm thanks to glow-in-the-dark detailing and bone-shaped white print on the black hour and minute hands.

At US$115/£96, this quirky timepiece is the perfect accessory for Simpsons fans who like to celebrate Halloween in style, but if you’re not a fan of The Simpsons, you should check out It’s Spooky Time, which is just as fun.

4. Konstantin Chaykin Joker Halloween

Few watchmakers do weird and wonderful quite like Konstantin Chaykin. His studio has produced everything from Dracula and clown-themed watches to the now-famous Joker – and this Halloween version might just be the most evil of the lot.

Limited to only 88 pieces, the Joker Halloween model comes in a 42mm bronze case with engraved details and a brushed finish. The dial mixes shades of green and gold with a pumpkin-orange grin: the eyes show the hours and minutes, while the moon phase shows the signature joker smile.

Inside, it runs on a Swiss ETA automatic movement paired with Chaykin’s own module, good for about 38 hours of power. It’s wild, funny, and delightfully meaningful – exactly what you’d expect from one of horology’s great eccentrics. You can browse the entire collection on Konstantin Chaykin’s official site.
