Belkin has officially launched its new SureFind collection of Bluetooth trackers in Australia, offering three different options to help you keep track of everyday items like keys, wallets, backpacks and luggage.
The new range consists of the SureFind Spot, SureFind Card, and SureFind Loop Cable Tagwith prices starting at just $29.95 AUD. All three trackers support both Apple’s Find My Network and Google’s Find Hub, making them suitable for both iPhone and Android users.
This is great for households where not everyone uses the same smartphone ecosystem. Rather than buying completely different trackers depending on which phone you own, Belkin’s SureFind collection offers compatibility with both platforms.
All three trackers also come with built-in speakers that can play an audible alert when you’re looking for something nearby. There are also left-behind notifications, so your smartphone can alert you if you’ve accidentally walked away from your belongings.
Belkin SureFind Spot – For keys, bags and luggage
The Belkin SureFind Spot is probably the simplest tracker in the collection. It’s a compact Bluetooth tag designed to attach to items that tend to go missing, such as your house key, backpack or luggage.
Unlike some tracking devices that require an additional accessory to attach it to something, the SureFind Spot already has a built-in loop and comes with a lanyard. This means you can attach it right out of the box without buying a separate holder.
It uses a replaceable battery that Belkin claims can last up to 12 months, so you don’t have to worry about charging it regularly. The tracker also has a waterproof design and is manufactured with 85% recycled plastic.
At $29.95 AUD for a single tracker, it’s the cheapest option in the new collection. Belkin also offers a two-pack for $54.95 and a four-pack for $99.95, which can be useful if you want to track several things at once.
Belkin SureFind Card – A slim tracker for your wallet
If you’ve ever misplaced your wallet, you’ll probably want to grab the Belkin SureFind Card. Rather than using the traditional tag-shaped design, the SureFind Card has a slim profile that can slip into a wallet, passport holder or bag without taking up much space.
It also comes with a fastening strap, which gives you the option of securing it to luggage or other items.
According to Belkin, the SureFind Card can last up to three yearssignificantly longer than the 12-month battery life of the SureFind Spot. However, Belkin did not specify a user-replaceable battery for the card.
The card also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it more suitable for situations where it may be exposed to water or the occasional accidental spill. Belkin also opted for plant-based bioplastics in its construction.
The SureFind card is priced at $44.95 AUD and is available in Black and White.
Belkin SureFind Loop Cable Tag – A tracker that doubles as a charging cable
The most interesting product in the collection, at least in terms of design, is the Belkin SureFind Loop Cable Tag. This one combines a Bluetooth tracker with a built-in USB-C to USB-C charging cable. The braided cable doubles as a secure attachment loop, allowing you to attach the tracker to your backpack, handbag or luggage.
If you need to charge a device, you can use the integrated USB-C cable instead of carrying a completely separate one.
Unlike the SureFind Spot, which uses a replaceable battery, the Loop Cable Tag has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to four months per charge. It also has an IPX4 water resistance rating, which provides protection against water splashes, and uses 85% recycled plastic in its construction.
Like the other two trackers, it supports Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, along with audible alerts and push notifications. The Belkin SureFind Loop Cable Tag is priced at $44.95 AUD, which puts it at the same price as the SureFind card.
