Apple has released some guidelines and suggestions on how to make your apps suitable for the iPhone Duo. The apps must be based on the new Xcode 27.1, which Apple has already released and is available for download.
Developers are now welcome to submit their apps and games to App Store Connect. When the app is built or recompiled with Xcode 27.1, the App Store displays a badge that lets people know that this app is optimized for iPhone Duo.
The company also introduced a new rule that requires every new app to include a screenshot of the app on an iPhone Duo starting in April 2027.
