Apple TV releases trailer for the upcoming original movie starring Chris Pratt

Apple TV today released the trailer for “Way of the Warrior Kid”, which will be released worldwide on the platform on November 25. Here are the details.

‘Way of the Warrior Kid’ premieres on November 25

Earlier this year, during their Apple TV Press Day event, Apple announced “Way of the Warrior Kid,” starring Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Linda Cardellini (Crystal Lake), and Jude Hill (Belfast).

The film is based on Jocko Willink’s 2017 bestselling novel “Way of the Warrior Kid: From Wimpy to Warrior the Navy SEAL Way.” Willink, a former Navy SEAL himself, also stars in the film, which is directed by McG (Terminator Salvation).

Here’s Apple’s synopsis of “Way of the Warrior Kid”:

Middle school has been a nightmare for Marc (Hill), a good kid who is bullied by his classmates and feels like he’s behind in everything from academics to PE to just making friends. That changes when his injured uncle Jake (Pratt), a decorated Navy SEAL, comes to spend the summer recuperating with Marc and his mother, Sarah (Cardellini). To help Marc defend himself, Jake develops an ambitious program he calls “Operation Warrior Kid” based on his SEAL training. Instead of teaching his nephew how to fight, Jake shows Marc what true courage is, with his own demons along the way.

With the November 25th premiere date fast approaching, Apple TV released the movie’s trailer today, which you can watch below:
