Four Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones are now receiving a new update worldwide. This applies to the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE.
However, this new update does not include the November Android security patch that was recently detailed by the company. We have to wait a little longer for that. It does bring some improvements under the hood though.
Four Samsung Galaxy S25 phones are getting a new update, worldwide
This update brings improvements to the stability and reliability of the devices. Well, from their software. These updates are now rolling out to global markets, and depending on the model and region, they weigh somewhere between 400 and 800MB.
There don’t seem to be any new features included here; at least none were mentioned as part of the changelog. The whole point of this update is to improve the performance of the devices.
Your phone will notify you when the update arrives, but you can always check manually if you want. You can do this by navigating to Settings -> Software Update -> Check for update.
All the devices mentioned here will get the November 2026 Android security update very soon. This update is also not expected to deliver any new features as it is focused on a security boost.
All these phones are eligible to receive both One UI 9.5 and Android 18-based One UI 10 next year
Note that all these devices are also eligible to receive One UI 9.5, which is expected to be released early next year, although it will take some time to reach these phones. All these phones will also get Android 18-based One UI 10 sometime next year.
This update is rolling out in stages, although it is currently rolling out on a global scale. In other words, you have to be patient because some of you will get it before others.
