According to a new report, Samsung aims to offer two of its upcoming Galaxy S27 smartphones with an improved privacy display. This feature, as many of you know, debuted with the Galaxy S26 Ultra earlier this year.
The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra come with improved privacy display
This new report comes from SamMobile. However, the report does not explain how the company plans to improve the feature. Both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are said to offer the feature this time around.
So, the Galaxy S27 Pro will not only be the newcomer in the Galaxy S series, but it will also be the first non-Ultra phone to offer the privacy display feature.
But that’s not all. The source also claims that the two will have phones “Increased display brightness,” which will make them much easier to see under direct sunlight.
The other two phones don’t get the feature at all
What about the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+, you may ask? Well, both the phones won’t get the privacy display feature, as an earlier report suggested. Privacy Display is reserved for Pro and Ultra models only, at least for now.
All four of these smartphones are expected to arrive in Q1 2027. In fact, they are expected to drop either in January or February; it all depends. These are the two months that Samsung has used to launch Galaxy S phones for years now.
The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra also come with a new camera platform on the back. The base and ‘Plus’ models will not, however. The two phones will basically look the same as the current generation models.
We have already shown you the designs of the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Galaxy S27+ will look the same as the Galaxy S27, but of course it will be bigger.
