TL; DR
- The subscription service known as Kindle Unlimited has a new name.
- Amazon has renamed the service to Kindle Plus.
- The rules of service are still the same.
For avid readers, Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited subscription is very convenient. It gives you access to the company’s extensive collection of media, lets you borrow up to 20 titles at once, and so on. Although it has long been known as Kindle Unlimited, the service is now making its first major announcement.
Get ready to say goodbye to the Kindle Unlimited name. Just like any other subscription service these days, the new name will have a plus to it. Amazon has quietly updated its website and support documentation to bring the service to Kindle Plus.
