It was just a few weeks ago that Marvel announced a new TV show Zodiac. Billed as an espionage thriller, there is a lot of mystery surrounding it, but now we know who will write the story.
Deadline recently reported that Marvel has acquired writers Amit Cohen and Ron Leshem as head writers. As many have discovered online, Leshem created the original Israeli series Euphoria (and executive produced its western adaptation on HBO). Together with Cohen, the duo collaborated or worked together on various Israeli thrillers such as Traitor and Hulu No man’s land.
In the comics, “Zodiac” was used interchangeably between organizations and specific people. Moon Knight currently has an enemy by that name, and in the past there have been criminal and supervillain groups that have come together, each of them named after one of the 12 signs. At the moment we only know the next one Series can star two agents chasing superpowered targets, presumably around the world.
At the time of writing, this series is expected to begin production in 2027 with plans to hit Disney+ next year. Along with Marvel’s last spy show after 2024 Secret invasionit will also follow the first show Daredevil: reborn ends next March.
