OnePlus does not particularly have a great 2026. The company has closed its operations in the United States and Europe, so the parent OPPO will take over service operations in the latter region. However, that doesn’t stop it from launching some really impressive hardware in China, as we saw with the OnePlus 16. Now the company could be preparing to launch another compelling product with a high-end Snapdragon chip, and this could even cross the border.
OnePlus is rumored to be developing a new phone for its Turbo series with a yet-to-be-launched 8-series chip from Qualcomm. Leaker Digital Chat Station shared tentative specifications for the upcoming Turbo Pro in a now-edited Weibo post. According to the leak, the phone may have a 6.78-inch display with a 185Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The phone is said to come with a 200MP primary camera and will also support an external cooling fan as an accessory. In addition, the phone is also said to have a 9,000mAh battery, with engineering samples reaching 10,000mAh.
