Xiaomi teased the arrival of the Redmi K100 in China last week. The company has now announced the phone’s launch date and revealed its key specifications and design. It will join the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which were unveiled in August.
The Redmi K100 will launch in China on October 28, the brand confirmed in an official post on Weibo. In addition to Redmi, the phone also showed up in a new Firefly Green color.
It also confirmed that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with the company’s D2 Display chipset. The phone offers 165Hz refresh rate and over 40 games.
Redmi also revealed that the K100 packs a 10,000mAh battery.
The phone will have a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. It will run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4 out-of-the-box.
Redmi is also set to unveil the Clip Neo open-ear headphones alongside the K100. Meanwhile, the phone is already available for pre-order in China.
