Samsung raises Galaxy A series prices After high-end phone hikes

Samsung has raised the US prices of some Galaxy A series phones. The increase affects its entry-level and mid-range models. The company has already raised prices for its high-end devices last week. These price changes also affect markets in Europe and India.

Now the Galaxy A17, A27, A37 and A57 have received higher US prices. The Galaxy A17 now costs $270, up from its $200 starting price. The Galaxy A27 has also become more expensive. It now sells for $380, compared to $350 when it was released.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 now costs $490 in the US. That’s $40 more than its previous price of $450. The Galaxy A57 saw another $50 increase. It is now priced at $600, compared to $550 at launch.

However, the starting price of the A57 was already higher than its predecessor. The previous model started at $500, which makes the latest increase more notable. With the latest change, the Galaxy A57 now sits at a price point once associated with Samsung’s FE models. These models offered higher-end features at a lower price.

These are Samsung’s official recommended retail prices in the US. Actual prices may vary as retailers are expected to offer discounts and other deals.
