If you’ve been eyeing Oppo’s hardware-packed Find X10 series since its Chinese debut, you might want to hold on to your wallet. A fresh leak ahead of the planned October 21st European launch reveals that the global versions of the OPPO Find X10 phones will come with a surprising price tag.
According to Dealabs, the standard Find X10 will be launched in Europe in a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration for €1,499. Meanwhile, the top-tier Find X10 Pro Max is set to land at €1,799 for the same memory tier. To put these numbers into perspective, the Find X9 launched last year at €999 for an identical 12GB/512GB layout. This means European buyers are looking at a massive €500 price jump in a single generation.
Why prices rise and specifications change
Industry analysts point to rising global costs for RAM and storage, driven by heavy AI hardware demand, as a major reason behind the price spikes. This memory pressure also seems to affect configuration choices, as leaks indicate that Europe won’t get 16GB RAM options despite Oppo selling them in China.
European buyers will also notice some hardware tweaks compared to the Chinese variants. Both European models drop down to a 7,150mAh battery capacity, leaving behind the massive 8,000mAh cells included in Chinese units. Official IP69 and IP69K water resistance ratings also appear to be omitted from European promotional leaflets. Meanwhile, the budget-friendly Find X10e variant appears completely absent from the French preview pages.
Flagship camera hardware and pre-order incentives
Despite the high cost of entry, the underlying hardware remains impressive. The Find X10 Pro Max runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip and features a landmark camera setup with three separate 200MP rear sensors co-developed with Hasselblad. European color options include Titanium Gray and White Moon for the Pro Max, in addition to Glacier Blue and Mist Grey. There’s also an online-exclusive Coral shade for the base Find X10.
To soften the price tag, Oppo is planning various launch promotions through its official store. Early buyers can get a discount of €150 on the base model or €200 on the Pro Max by putting down a small deposit. This will reduce the effective starting prices to €1,349 and €1,599 respectively. Finally, pre-orders also come with a free bundled gift, such as the Oppo Pad 5, the Watch X3, or a specialized Hasselblad teleconverter lens kit.
