CES 2026: LG shows Gallery TV

CES 2026: LG shows Gallery TV as a design statement for the living room

From TV to design object: LG will show the new Gallery TV at CES 2026.

With the new one LG Gallery TV LG Electronics is expanding its lifestyle TV portfolio at CES 2026 with a model that combines technology and living space design closer than ever. The television sees itself less as a classic player and more as a digital screen that remains part of the room concept even when it is switched off.

The central element is the newly developed Gallery modewhich was created in collaboration with the museum curators. Color, brightness and contrast are specially adjusted to display artwork as realistically as possible. This is complemented by special display technology that minimizes reflections and glare – a crucial point when a TV is permanently visible in the living room. In addition, the image automatically adapts to the changing lighting conditions.

Technically, LG uses MiniLED technology in conjunction with the α7 AI processor, which is responsible for 4K image processing. AI Sound Pro is used for the sound, which is intended to generate a virtual 9.1.2-channel surround sound. Whether this approach replaces external speakers remains a matter of taste, but it underlines the requirement for a setup that is as minimalist as possible.

LG also stays true to its gallery line when it comes to design: the TV is built with the wall, is particularly slim and is available in 55 and 65 inches. Interchangeable magnetic frames allow adaptation to different furniture styles and enhance the impression of a digital art object.

An essential part of the concept is the LG Gallery+ service. The platform offers access to over 4,500 artworks, animations and visual content, updated regularly. In addition to classic art, you will also find movie scenes, game visuals and animated designs. Additionally, users can use generative AI to create their own images or view personal photos. Background music can be added either via integrated tracks or via Bluetooth.

Interesting: LG Gallery+ is not exclusive to the Gallery TV, but is available for the entire LG TV product range. The new Gallery TV positions itself mainly through display quality, design and living space integration – less through exclusive content.

LG will show the Gallery TV for the first time at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Information about price and market launch is still pending, but it is likely to be clear in the premium segment.
