Anyone who reads an Ethereum price prediction wants an answer. Is the long wait almost over? On October 20th, a tool that accelerates blocks went live for node operators who have staked over 1.4 million ETH, Unchained reported.
But ETH is trading near $2,400 on CoinMarketCap, roughly half of its $4,953 peak. Better tech often comes before a better price. And the biggest ETH profits went to its 2014 presale buyers, who paid 31 cents, per The Block. That early stage is where Pepeto sits today, a meme coin presale with its own zero-fee exchange and raised more than $11.2 million.
Ethereum Price Prediction News: 1.4M Staked ETH Moves to Faster Blocks
Optimum launched its blockchain speed layer, called mump2p, on Ethereum’s mainnet on October 20. Sixteen node operators run it, with around 22,000 validator keys and over 1.4 million ETH. That’s more than 3% of all ETH staked, Unchained reported.
Ether.fi now requires all 12 of its node operators to use it, per Blockchain Reporter. Optimum says that block validators achieve 2.42 times faster in their own tests. A faster chain is good news for all ETH holders. The question is when the price will follow.
Faster Blocks, Same Exchange Fees: A 0% Fee Exchange, Then ETH Levels
Pepeto: A live 0% fee exchange for traders tired of paying Uniswap 0.30%
Faster blocks help the network, but a trader on Ethereum still pays a cut on each swap. Pepeto has built its own exchange so that the cut stays in your wallet. That exchange is PepetoSwap. It runs today, before the token is even listed on any exchange.
PepetoSwap is already working, with market, limit and DCA orders. The swap fee is 0.00%, so you pay mains gas and nothing more. A private relay protects all trades from bots by default, which is important on a fast chain where bots also move quickly. Your coins never leave your own wallet, whether it’s MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby or another WalletConnect wallet.
The savings are easy to count. A $1,000 trade costs $3 on Uniswap, $2.50 on PancakeSwap and $0 on PepetoSwap. Move $100,000, and the gap grows to $300, $250 and zero, money that stays with you.
A busy trader feels it the most. Make 200 trades of $5,000, and Uniswap keeps $3,000 of your money, while PepetoSwap keeps none. Analysts project 100x for Pepeto after it is listed on exchanges. No one can promise that call.
The presale price is $0.0000001902 currently, and more than $11.2 million has been received so far. Buyers can also join at 160% APY, a rate that changes daily and is not guaranteed, with rewards claimed on the listing. The price increases at each new stage, so that each stage costs less than the one after it.
While ETH holders wait for a chart, a Pepeto buyer today gets a working exchange, one that keeps all exchange fees in the trader’s pocket. The lowest stage price is the one that is currently open.
Can ETH reach $2,800 by the end of October?
ETH may reach $2,800 this month if it first closes above $2,480. Brian McColl at Tradingpedia puts this line at the 50-day EMA on October 21. ETH traded at $2,400 in his note, with RSI at 43. So buyers and sellers are sitting close to even.
For today, $2,480 is the line to hit. A daily close above that opens at $2,546 this week, McColl writes, and then $2,807, the Sept. 21 high. Lokesh Gupta at CoinGabbar sets targets of $2,600 and $2,700 ahead of a $2,800 retest.
On the way down, the 200-day EMA at $2,326 is the floor to watch. A close below $2,300 points to $2,100, Gupta adds. So the best case this month is about 15%, a fair gain that leaves ETH still far from its record.
conclusion
The Ethereum price forecast needs 1.4 million staked ETH, faster blocks and a break above $2,480 just to reach $2,800. Even a full trip back to the $4,953 record is about 2x, which could take months. Pepeto needs an event, his listing, with a live exchange behind it.
More than $11.2 million has been raised so far in its presale. Big holders hope for a double. Presale buyers keep the price of a 100x would start, if analysts are right.
At that rate, $1,000 at today’s stage price would become $100,000, although nothing is promised. The current stage is open on the Pepeto official website. The next one costs more.

FAQs
What does the Ethereum price forecast look like after 1.4M staked ETH got faster blocks?
The Ethereum price forecast points to $2,800 this month when ETH closes above $2,480. Faster blocks help the network, but the price still has to clear that line first.
Which early coin gives small buyers an advantage over large ETH holders?
Pepeto does, because it sells before listing while ETH trades at $2,400. Analysts project 100x after launch, and each stage on the Pepeto official website costs more than the last.
