Reliance Jio has introduced a Jio 3-year plan priced at ₹ 10,000, a single recharge that covers unlimited voice calls, unlimited 5G data and 2.5GB high-speed data per day for three years. Jio calls it an industry first, and the plan will be available from November 7, 2026 on the MyJio app, Jio.com, Jio stores, retail outlets and other recharge channels.
Jio’s announcement positions the plan as ending annual renewals. It also says that the benefits and price are locked in for the full three years.
What the Jio 3-year plan includes
- Price: £10,000
- Validity: three years
- Unlimited 5G data
- Unlimited voice calling
- 2.5GB of high-speed data per day
- 100 text messages a day
- JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood Subscription
- Canva Pro Lite for 12 months
- 50GB of JioAICloud storage
The plan bundles JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood, 12 months of Canva Pro Lite and 50GB of JioAICloud storage. Jio already offers a 12-month Canva Pro Lite subscription with its 2GB-a-day plans at ₹349 under a deal that started on September 16, so it only covers the first year of the new plan. Jio’s announcement does not say how long the JioHotstar access will last.
How the price works out
Spread over 36 months, ₹10,000 comes to about ₹278 per month, or about ₹3,333 per year. Jio’s existing £3,599 annual plan also gives 2.5GB per day and unlimited 5G. Three of those will cost ₹10,797 over three years, making the new plan ₹797 cheaper, or about ₹22 less per month.
The cheaper price comes with a smaller bundle. The anniversary version of that plan has 120GB of bonus data, 18 months of Google Gemini Pro, 5TB of cloud storage and a year of JioTV Pro pack. None of these are listed for the 3-year plan.
Unlimited 5G has so far required a 5G-capable phone in an area where Jio has 5G coverage. At 2.5GB per day, three years add up to about 2,700GB of high-speed data.
What does it mean for users
The plan suits people who plan to stay on Jio and want to cover a recharge for three years. The price cut is important as Jio’s annual plan costing ₹2,999 was ₹999 before the July 3, 2024 tariff revision and is now ₹3,599. The trade-off is a ₹10,000 payment upfront. Jio also introduced voice-only plans in late October, which we covered in our story on Jio’s voice-only prepaid plans.
