Samsung has rolled out the stable One UI 9 update to Galaxy S25 users in the US. The update is based on Android 17. The company released the stable update a few days ago. However, the initial expansion was limited to South Korea.
The update now reaches the Galaxy S25 series in the US. It is available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The US firmware versions for these three models end with DZIF. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 FE will receive a firmware version that ends with CZIF.
The stable update requires about 4GB of storage for download. However, the file size is smaller for users who join the One UI 9 beta program. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more markets over time. For now, US users can check their phones for the new software.
If you haven’t received the update yet, you can check manually. Open Settings, select Software Update, and tap Download and Install. The One UI 9 update brings Android 17 to Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 lineup. The wider rollout also signals that Samsung has moved beyond its initial South Korean release.
