Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 17-based One UI 9 update for its Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z Fold5 series. The update is currently available in South Korea, with beta users getting it first.
The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will receive the update with build version GZIF. For users enrolled in the beta program, the download is less than 500MB. However, users upgrading from the stable version can expect a larger package of around 3GB.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 will also receive the stable One UI 9 update in South Korea. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to non-beta users and other regions soon.
Users in South Korea who own one of these devices can manually check for the update. To do this, open Settings > Software update on the phone and tap on the option to check for updates.
