Andre Rodrigues extended his perfect start to the 2026 SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines with another three-race sweep during Round 2 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
The Portuguese driver now has six wins from six starts in the SR3 Challenge, while the SR1 title battle intensified as JR Gan and Jaime Almario traded class wins over the weekend.
RODRIGUES SETS THE PACE OF QUALIFYING
Rodrigues set the benchmark early, taking pole position with a 1:38.468 lap in the #30 Rodrigues Racing SR3.
JR Gan put the #17 MRD SR1 next to him on the front row, followed by Jaime Almario and Vedant Agrawal.
In Race 1, Gan challenged Rodrigues at the start, but Rodrigues held the lead. Defending SR3 champion Mikey Jordan climbed to third on the opening lap on his return to the series before retiring two laps later with technical issues.
Rodrigues won after 12 laps while Gan held off Almario to claim his third SR1 win of the season.

GAN AND ALMARIO HANDEL BLOOTS IN RACE 2
Race 2 produced another close SR1 battle.
Gan initially took the class lead before Almario moved ahead, but Gan retook the position with an inside move on lap four.
Rodrigues, starting from fourth, slowly closed in on the fighting pair before passing both to take his fifth consecutive overall victory.
Gan again topped the SR1 class, followed by Almario and Agrawal.
ALMARIO BREAKS IN STEAM CONDITIONS
Race 3 started in wet conditions, with Rodrigues rejoining the field.
Behind him, Gan defended against Almario until the #25 AVI Racing driver found a way past on lap six. Gan regained the position three laps later, but a technical problem slowed his car.
Almario capitalized to take the SR1 class win ahead of Agrawal and Gan, while Rodrigues completed another clean finish to maintain his perfect season.
Championship leads take shape

At the halfway point of the season, Rodrigues leads the SR3 Challenge Cup 158 points after six straight wins.
Gan remains at the top of the SR1 ranking 125 pointsHolding a 23-point advantage over Almario 102. Agrawal is third 51 points.
The results leave Rodrigues firmly in control of SR3 while keeping the SR1 championship battle open in the second half of the season.
