Vivo S2 FE is set to launch in India on October 6, alongside the Vivo V80. The company has confirmed the launch date, availability and design of its upcoming S-series smartphone through a dedicated Flipkart microsite.

The handset is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display and a massive 10,000mAh battery. Ahead of its debut, a leak also revealed the expected box price and key specifications of the smartphone.

Vivo S2 FE launch date and availability

The Vivo S2 FE will launch in India on October 6 at 12pm IST. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart, where a dedicated microsite is already live. The listing shows the green color option of the handset and flat rear panel design.

The phone will have a square rear camera module in the upper left corner, two camera sensors and an LED flash. The power button and volume controls will be positioned on the right side, while the left edge will have a clean finish.

Vivo S2 FE price in India (expected)

According to a recent leak, the Vivo S2 FE might carry a box MRP of Rs. 39,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. However, the actual retail price is expected to be lower, as the prices for smartphone boxes are generally higher than their retail prices.

To recall, Vivo S2 price in India starts from Rs 42,999. Vivo is yet to officially announce the pricing and other storage configurations of the upcoming handset.

Vivo S2 FE specifications and features

The Vivo S2 FE is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage. It could sport a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the smartphone is tipped to have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. Other camera specifications have not been revealed yet.

The handset is expected to pack a 10,000mAh battery, although charging details remain unknown. It is also tipped to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Vivo S2 FE will ship with an unspecified version of OriginOS, with further software details expected to be announced closer to launch.
