Vivo’s new foldable, the X Fold 6, launched a few months ago, but it was exclusive to China. It arrived as a successor to the X Fold 5 and brought some notable upgrades. We already know that the flagship will be available worldwide. But before that, the Vivo X Fold 6 was listed on a retailer’s website, revealing its specifications and price details.
Global Vivo X Fold 6 price and specifications have been listed online ahead of launch
The listing of the Vivo X Fold 6 has surfaced on an Italian online retailer, Etpo’s website. First, the listing shows a price tag of €2,135.90 (~$2,426). The current price will probably be around €2,199.99 (~$2,497). That’s pretty expensive, but that’s the new normal, largely because of the memory crisis affecting the industry as a whole. In fact, most of the recent premium folding bars carry a similar price tag.
This price is for the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant. It could be the only configuration available in Europe. The retailer list also confirms that the Vivo X Fold 6 will be available in black and blue shades.
200MP camera, 6,900mAh battery, and Android 17
In addition to the price, the listing also reveals the specifications of the X Fold 6. It will sport an 8.02-inch main AMOLED display with 2504 x 2312 pixel resolution. The phone will have an octa-core processor with a 4.21 GHz clock speed. Although it does not mention the chipset name, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super 3nm processor the Chinese variant.
In terms of photography, the Vivo foldable will continue the Zeiss partnership. It will rock a 200MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It gets a 20MP front camera for selfies. A large 6,900mAh battery will power the whole thing, and there is 80W wireless charging support. In comparison, the Chinese model has a 7,000mAh unit. There is a chance that the EU version has the rated capacity listed.
In terms of software, the Vivo X Fold 6 will boot Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box. It measures 157.2 x 74.3 x 9.9 mm and weighs 230 grams. The folding bar will have an IP58 rating for dust and water resistance. Rumors claim that the Vivo X Fold 6 will debut on October 1. Well, we’ll know if that’s true in a day.
