vivo launched the X Fold6 in China in June and announced it for international markets earlier this month. It also launched the X Fold6 in India a few days ago at the vivo NEXT 2026 event, where it unveiled the V80 and S2 FE and showcased the vivo Vision Discovery Edition MR headset. The vivo X Fold6 will be available in Prism Black and Nebula Teal in India. We’ve already shown you the Prism Black model, so now let’s take a look at the Nebula Teal color we received.
The retail package of our Indian Nebula Teal X Fold6 is identical to its global counterpart. The box has the same design and finish and includes a SIM ejector tool, some documents, a charging cable, a 100W power adapter, and a phone case that matches the phone’s body color. It’s a full-fledged premium unboxing experience. We like that Vivo has not skimped by removing the power adapter from its premium smartphone packages in the name of sustainability, regardless of the Galaxy (pun intended) in which they are sold.
Moving on, the vivo X Fold6’s Nebula Teal model, like the other colorways, packs a 6.51-inch cover display with a centered punch-hole for the 20MP selfie camera. scanner below, so you have to rely on the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, because the folding display also has none The X Fold3 Pro had one under both screens, and we hope that vivo will bring back the in-display fingerprint scanner with its next folding bar.
That said, what immediately caught our attention after turning on the vivo X Fold6 Nebula Teal and completing the initial setup process is the default wallpaper. It’s pretty cool and matches the color of the phone. We love this attention to detail in the Nebula Teal model, as it makes Prism Black’s standard wallpaper look dull by comparison.
If you’re wondering why vivo chose this wallpaper for Nebula Teal, it’s because “Nebula Teal draws inspiration from the quiet moment at dawn when the sea and sky merge on the horizon.”
Unfold the vivo X Fold6, and you will see the complete wallpaper. And what you see is an 8.02-inch folding LTPO 8T AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,504×2,312 pixel resolution, and 5,000 nits local peak brightness. It also has a 20MP selfie camera in the top right corner.
Fold the X Fold6 and turn it over, and you’ll see a circular camera island with a dual-LED flash, three cameras and a ZEISS logo in the center. The primary camera uses a 200MP Samsung HPB sensor, the APO telephoto camera uses a 50MP LYT-602 sensor, and the ultra-wide camera uses a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor, all with ZEISS T* coating.
The camera island has chamfers around it, and its sides match the body color of the phone.
Unlike the Prism Black X Fold6, which has fine vertical ribs on its back cover, the Nebula Teal has a clean look with no pattern. The color itself looks cool, and you can see different shades when the light reflects off the cover at different angles.
The back panel is covered with glass and resistant to stains. It’s also not slippery, but if it tends to slip from your hands, the bundled phone case helps because it has a rubber finish that improves grip and also protects the phone.

The bundled phone case has the vivo logo etched and is translucent. We say this because the top and bottom portions of the case, as well as the part that protects the camera island, are slightly transparent. We like the design and quality of the case, but it’s worth noting that its textured, rubbery finish tends to collect dust, as you can see in one of the images below.

That said, we like the overall design of the vivo X Fold6’s Nebula Teal model. It is well built and has a premium in-hand feel, although some users find it difficult to hold and use with one hand due to the camera island.
The vivo X Fold6 will go on sale in India from October 13 on the vivo Indian website, Amazon.in, Flipkart and partner stores. It comes in a single 12GB/512GB configuration and is priced at INR219,999.
