LG has announced the global launch of the LG xboom Blast, a premium portable Bluetooth party speaker designed to bring powerful, immersive audio to outdoor gatherings. Whether it’s a beach day, camping trip, poolside party or backyard party, the new xboom Blast combines high-output sound, long battery life and rugged durability in a portable design. The speaker delivers up to 220W output, offers up to 36 hours of battery life, and has an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water. This combination makes the LG xboom Blast well suited for users who want to take their music beyond the confines of the home.
At the heart of the speaker is xboom signature sound tuned by will.i.am. The xboom Blast delivers up to 220W when connected to AC power and up to 210W while running on battery. Its high-output audio system features two 5.25-inch neodymium woofers and two 20mm tweeters from the Danish audio brand Peerless, designed to deliver punchy bass, clear highs and balanced full-range sound. For connectivity, users can stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth or connect via USB-C for high-fidelity wired playback.
The LG xboom Blast is also designed with portability in mind. Inspired by the familiar shape of a weekend duffel bag, the speaker has a two-way carrying system with a top handle and flexible rope handle. The rope handle allows the speaker to be carried vertically, making it easier to move between places such as beaches, campsites and outdoor parties. Its distinctive outdoor-focused design has also earned recognition, with the LG xboom Blast receiving a 2026 Red Dot Design Award. LG xboom Blast will launch this month in select markets, with additional markets expected to follow later in 2026.
