RedMagic 12 Pro+ Benchmark Shows Crazy Scores

RedMagic is about to launch its new mobile gaming monster on October 15, but early performance leaks are already making waves. Fresh Geekbench test runs show that the upcoming RedMagic 12 Pro+ flexes even higher scores than earlier prototype sightings suggested.

The latest listings have the phone rocking Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, and the benchmarked test unit came with 16GB of RAM. While initial leaks hinted at strong performance, these updated tests push hardware limits to a whole new level. More specifically, the RedMagic 12 Pro + scored 3,677 in single-core and an amazing 12,679 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 7.1.0.

Push active cooling and raw power to the limit

Giant synthetic benchmark numbers look great on paper. However, maintaining this speed during long gaming sessions is where most phones struggle. That’s where RedMagic’s hardware trick comes in. The brand pairs Qualcomm’s heavy-duty silicon with its signature active cooling fan tech, allowing the chip to maintain peak clock speeds without overheating or throttling frame rates mid-match.

The test unit also ran Android 17 right out of the box, pointing to deep software optimization between Qualcomm’s CPU cores and RedMagic’s Game Boost Engine. While 16GB of RAM was shown in this benchmark run, more memory and storage options will almost certainly appear at launch.

Finally making a gaming phone that feels good to hold

Raw speed is only half the story this time. Gaming phones have a reputation for being thick, heavy bricks, but RedMagic immediately fixes this design flaw with the 12 Pro+. The company has removed extra weight and thickness compared to the previous RedMagic 11 generation, creating a slimmer profile.

They also added subtle rounded corners to the frame, replacing the sharp right angles that usually dig into your palms during long horizontal gaming sessions.

We still have to wait until October 15 for full details on screen brightness, battery size, and camera setups. But in the meantime, these benchmark numbers prove that RedMagic is directly aiming for the mobile performance crown.
